My awesome neighbors in VIP Glamping area AND EVERYONE!!
When the first of two evacuations occurred, everyone was scurrying to safe places. Within minutes, those 65 mps winds kicked up throughout Lockn. I found myself trying to hold up one side of my 10×10 set up in front of my tent, both tent and myself being pounded by the winds, as I watched others doing the same; debris of all sizes and shapes flying by. Within minutes, 4 fellow VIP glampers appeared out of nowhere and helped me take down the 10×10 and, even though many poles were bent beyond repair, helped me move it out of harms way. After the storm passed, other awesome neighbor glampers came over to see if my 10×10 could possibly be resurrected. One couple, on the end closest to concierge, had resurrected their 10×10 using tape; cords, etc. It was AWESOME!!! Mine, however, was a ‘goner’. And the AWESOME VIP glamper concierge guys were awesome helping me dispose of it!!
I simply want to thank ALL who camped near me, Doreen (gdgroupie@hotmail.com) the old gal VIP glamping alone, for the help. Yet again, since Lockn 1, I continue having “a real good time” always making new friends and loving what LOCKN’ offers to all!
